Our School
About our School
Welcome to Redfield Elementary School, a place where excellence is fostered through a vibrant and inclusive community. Our commitment to individualized education and nurturing growth is what sets us apart. We are a happy place with smiling successful students who excel in and out of the classroom.
We take pride in our Comprehensive Gifted Program (CGP), which caters to the upper three percentile of students. Our CGP teachers are certified and specialize in gifted education, ensuring an enriching experience for these remarkable learners. But it doesn't stop there. At Redfield, inclusion is our strength. We're home to the Social Communication Academics (SCA) program, catering to diverse needs across the spectrum. With our inclusive environment, students grow and progress towards integrated learning experiences.
Our active Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) creates a strong bond between families and the school. Engaging events like Parent Information Nights, Grand Pals, and Community Engagement meetings bring our community together. We believe in open communication, where students' voices are heard through our Principal Council. Our students are empowered to help us improve and we as an admin team and school community grow with the input of those we serve (students, staff and parents).
With our focus on individualized learning, we offer an array of programs to cater to every child's interests and needs. Our elective offerings, robust after-school activities, and Celebration of Learning events showcase our commitment to holistic development. Our students are already change makers. Redfield’s Green Team and Recycling Club already brighten the world and inspire the best in others. We also build strong relationships and partnerships with our retired community building bridges with Grand Pals.
About our Campus
Redfield Elementary is a public Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, neighborhood school located in the heart of beautiful North Scottsdale. Our school offers breathtaking views of the McDowell Mountains and convenient access to kid-friendly, Thunderbird Park.
Our campus is designed to promote learning and safety, with a focus on creating a welcoming and engaging environment for students. The beautiful grassy amphitheater serves as the centerpiece of our campus, providing a unique space for outdoor learning experiences, celebrations, and community events.
In addition to its natural beauty, Redfield Elementary is also home to a collection of hand-painted tiles created by every outgoing 5th grader from years past. These vibrant tiles line the corridors of our school, showcasing student artwork and expressing their love for Redfield Elementary.
Our student gardens at Redfield provide hands-on learning opportunities for students to engage in sustainable practices and cultivate a deeper understanding of agriculture. These gardens also serve as a place for students to connect with nature, promote community involvement, and contribute to the local food system.
We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our diverse learners where they can grow and thrive.
